The Dwelling Project in Gowanus, Brooklyn, prioritizes nature and blurs public-private boundaries. The site features courtyard gardens, elevated kitchen-dining areas for potential flooding, and two staircases connecting various spaces. Large windows highlight specific areas, while bedrooms prioritize privacy with individual courtyards. Simple materials accentuate nature, with wooden flooring, black tiles, and warm elements against white walls.
